The Africa Week opening assembly is a gathering on the first day of Africa Week that marks the beginning of the week and introduces the community to the theme of the week. This assembly is interactive and hopefully garners excitement for the wonderful festivities to come throughout the week. The main aim of the assembly is to water the audiences’ appetites while still informing and educating them on Africa.
This year’s assembly is going to feature beautiful musical pieces from the school choir and top-notch entertainment such as amapiano dance crew and a short play.
Our speaker this year is Fanele Mashwama, a PhD student in Financial Economics at Harvard University. Click here to view his profile.
